On several occasions, dialogue in the TV series has referred to the King of the Andals and the First Men as the "King of Westeros", but this is not an official term in the novels. Stannis has been referred to as this a few times in the novels, apparently to emphasize that he means to extend his rule to the lands beyond the Wall. Later in life he rose in rebellion against King Aegon V, outraged that Prince Duncan had broken his marriage contract to his daughter.

After Aery’s death, he refused to charge Tywin Lannister and Gregor Clegane for murdering Elia and her little children, Rhaenys and Aegon Targaryen. Feared throughout the seven kingdoms for his strength and fearsomeness, Robert Baratheon got admired by many soldiers. However, others hated him for usurping House Targaryen, the rightful ruling house of the seven kingdoms. After Roberts’s rise to power, he got intoxicated by the extravagances of life and swerved from his duties as King.

Stannis therefore declared himself Robert's lawful successor as king, being the elder of Robert's two younger brothers. Whilst the rebel army bore down on King's Landing from the north, the armies of House Lannister arrived to reinforce the capital. Aerys was slain by Ser Jaime Lannister and the city was surrendered to the rebel forces once they arrived. To ensure there was no threat to Robert's line, Lord Tywin Lannister had arranged the deaths of Rhaegar's children, which Eddard constituted unjustified murder, leading to a schism between him and Robert that was only healed when they learned of Lyanna's death. Ned deduces that Robert's children with Cersei are actually bastards born of incest between Cersei and Jaime;[5] he sends a message to Stannis, informing him of this, as he has been revealed to be the rightful heir to the throne.

Cersei Lannister noted that he would sometimes come to her bed drunk and, essentially, rape her (husbands had the right to bed their wives regardless of what the wife says). Eddard Stark once noted (in thought) that Robert would promise a woman the world and then forget everything, including her, in the morning. Finally, during the feast at the Tourney of the Kings Hand, Cersei forbade Robert to fight, with Robert drunkenly shouting that he will. The next morning, Eddard Stark and Ser Barristan Selmy are discussing the argument, and Ser Barristan notes how most men will forget such words.
The monarch of the unified kingdoms sits on the Iron Throne in the capital city King's Landing in the royal palace known as the Red Keep. Robert is extremely bitter about the abuse he believes the Targaryens inflicted on Ned's sister and his betrothed Lyanna, which influences him to order the death of the Mad King's children Viserys and Daenerys after Daenerys marries a Dothraki warlord named Khal Drogo. Ned is disgusted by Robert's actions, and this leads to a falling out.
Since King Tommen left no heirs, Cersei Lannister succeeded House Baratheon of King's Landing. Stannis later arranged Renly's assassination, and he died without issue, leaving Stannis to take control of the Stormlands' armies and move against King's Landing. At the subsequent Battle of the Blackwater, Joffrey's forces managed to crush most of the armies of the Storm Lords, with the few survivors bending the knee or declaring their neutrality. Most of the Stormlands are occupied by Joffrey's forces as a result, though Storm's End itself has not yet fallen. During the hunt, Robert is attended by his squire, Lancel Lannister, who provides him his wine. Robert grows overly drunk, and is fatally maimed in a fight with a wild boar, though he kills the beast in return.
A Game of Thrones
In a very minor difference to the books, the TV series spells 'Argilac' as 'Argalic'. House Baratheon has ruled over the tempest-wracked south-eastern shores of Westeros, the area known as the Stormlands, ever since. It has produced a number of great and notable warriors, such as Ser Lyonel Baratheon, the Laughing Storm, and married into the royal House Targaryen several generations ago. When his bride-to-be, Lyanna Stark, got allegedly kidnapped by Rhaegar, Eddard’s father and brother traveled to King’s Landing to demand justice. However, they got killed, and the King ordered Robert and Ned’s heads; this led to Robert’s Rebellion.

Perched atop the city on the 73rd floor of the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, this rooftop provides a bird’s-eye view spanning from the Hollywood Sign to the Pacific Ocean and Long Beach. Watch the sunset with mochi ice cream sundaes, warm yourself by a fire pit with table-side s’mores, or round up 10 or more friends to celebrate with bottle service. Non-hotel guests must pay ($10 daily or $20 after 8 p.m. on weekends) to touch the sky. And thanks to Los Angeles' famous good weather, patio season is almost year-round at the following 15 way-up watering holes. When Season 4 did eventually air, however, the shortened title "King of the Andals and the First Men" continued to be used.
Lord of Storm's End and Lord Paramount of the Stormlands during the reign of Maegor Targaryen. He was the first lord to declare for the young Jaehaerys Targaryen and was proclaimed Hand of the King and Protector of the Realm as a result. He later married Alyssa Velaryon, siring Boremund and Jocelyn Baratheon. Raised under wardenship and Maesters after their parents perished on a voyage back from Essos, the current Baratheons, Robert, Stannis and Renly are among the most influential members that have ever come from the noble house. They are noted for not being particularly fond of each other and for being extremely different in their personalities. The Baratheons claimed Storm's End from the Storm Kings of House Durrandon when the aforementioned Orys Baratheon defeated King Argilac Durrandon "The Arrogant" during the Wars of Conquest and married his daughter Argella.
Some of the joy went out of Robert upon the death of Lyanna, and this only increased as his loveless marriage with Cersei continued - they hated each other, and barely made a secret of that hatred. With the battles and wars won, and with his family and Kingsguard disapproving of him taking part in tourneys and melees, Robert lost his former vigour and became fat and somewhat indolent. Aside from Jon Arryn he had few true friends at court, and didn't trust anyone other than Ned Stark or the aforementioned man, not even his brothers, with whom he mutually disliked. Robert began his reign by marrying Cersei Lannister, in thanks for Tywin's service in delivering the capital to him.

It would also greatly increase the offensive capabilities of his Securitron army. The OS was downloaded onto the Platinum Chip, and was set to be delivered via courier to House the morning of October 23rd, 2077. Perched in these uplifted environments, it’s hard not to be enveloped by a sense of optimism. It’s similar to looking out the window on a descending flight home, silently naming landmarks as they come into view and chuckling at the blinking brake lights on the zigzag of freeways below. With a distanced and wider perspective, you’re reminded of all the reasons you love this city. There’s the reward of hiking to the top of a trail, but as summer daylight dwindles, L.A.’s rooftop restaurants and bars prove more tempting, offering incomparable vistas alongside sparkling pools, creative cocktails, prime people-watching and, of late, memorable meals.
Robert Baratheon led a rebellion against King Aerys II Targaryen, resulting in the overthrowing of the Targaryens. Robert became the new king; Renly became Lord Paramount of the Stormlands, ruling the Stormlands from Storm's End; Stannis formed the cadet branch House Baratheon of Dragonstone. House Baratheon[1] of Storm's End is a Great House of Westeros that traditionally rules the Stormlands on the eastern coast of Westeros, aptly named for its frequent storms.
He was a charismatic and fearsome military commander and a formidable warrior, shown by his famous defeat of Rhaegar Targaryen on the Trident, pending the death of Aerys Targaryen. His command of his armies at Summerhall showed his strong ability to command and forge relationships with others through war and battle. House Baratheon was founded by Orys Baratheon, a general in the army of King Aegon I Targaryen, the founder of the Targaryen dynasty who conquered the Seven Kingdoms. For his accomplishments, Orys was made Lord of Storm's End and founded House Baratheon. Orys took the sigil and words of the defeated House Durrandon as his own, cementing his rule over the Stormlands by marrying Argella Durrandon, the daughter of the fallen Argilac. He initially chose to bide his time and observe the goings-on of the Mojave Wasteland instead of immediately revealing himself.
This home feels the most private in the sense that all of the other homes on the list are easily visible from the street and sidewalk. In this case, you do have to walk to the gate in order to see the house. Finding filming locations from movies and TV shows has become one of my favorite things to do. Lately, I have been visiting a lot of famous TV and movie houses in Los Angeles. Almost any part of the LA area will be home to at least one or two of the iconic houses. Since all the homes on this list are private residences I do ask and recommend that you try and be as respectful as possible when you go to visit.
